Pedro has 18 years of experience in Africa (Angola, South Africa and Mozambique). He led the creation of a 2,000 MW wind and solar project pipeline for the REIPP Program in South Africa, and in Mozambique with Eaglestone was responsible for the development of a further 200MW. His experience includes real estate, energy infrastructure and financial services. As Group CEO, he is the senior executive in developing a pipeline of up to 800 MW of Renewable Energy in Solar, Wind and Battery.

Kevin has more than 30 years of experience in finance and venture capital, advising and investing in South, West and East Africa, UK and the Middle East. He worked in Corporate Finance at Morgan Stanley in New York and London, was the founding CEO of Blue Catalyst, a venture capital project of the South African government, and was on the Executive Committee of the South African Venture Capital Association. He is a fellow of the Aspen Institute’s Africa Leadership Initiative.

Zein has an Honors degree in Business Management from the Instituto Superior de Ciências e Tecnologias de Moçambique. He has 4 years experience in the Banking Sector at BIM and BCI in Mozambique, and was a Senior Advisory Consultant at PwC Mozambique where he participated in several M&A, Mining and Financial Services deals. Since joining Source Capital, he has led the Investment Management and all Finance & Administration of the Source Group.

Mathikizana has a deep background in Electrical Engineering with over a decade of experience in Mozambique’s electricity sector. His diverse skill set includes proficiency in System Planning, Protection Control and Maintenance, Project Management, Policy and Legal Reform, as well as Private Sector Development. Over the years, he has played a key role in several significant projects, contributing to the preparation of the Electricity Master Plan 2012-2027, participating in STE studies (Line Energization Studies), and supervising the Rehabilitation of the Songo HVDC Converter Station. He was actively involved the Proposal for the Revision of the Electricity Law (Law 12/2022).

Filipa graduated in management with a Master’s degree in Business from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She then worked in Corporate Finance at Espirito Santo Investment Bank in Portugal and at MozaBanco in Mozambique. She was involved in several real estate and tourism deals and has also worked with the major DFIs operating in Mozambique. At Source Energia she leads the Financial Analysis portfolio.

Cândida has a degree in political Science from Universidade Eduardo Mondlane and was part of the Graduate Program at Barclays Bank Mozambique where she trained in the Legal Department on Governance and Control as anti-money laundering analyst. She then became a relationship manager and debt assistant in Corporate & Investment Banking. Since joining Source Capital she has been focused on ESG, land and community relations, working in support of all projects.
