Financial consultant in real estate, energy infrastructure and financial services businesses. At Source, it leads 800 MW of Renewable Energy in Solar, Wind and Batteries in different modalities.

Mathikizana Matos
Senior Engineer for Business and Project Development

Mr. Matos has a solid background in Electrical Engineering with over a decade of experience in Mozambique’s electricity sector. His diverse skill set includes proficiency in System Planning, Protection Control and Maintenance, Project Management, Policy and Legal Reform, as well as Private Sector Development. Over the years, he has played a key role in several significant projects, contributing to the preparation of the Electricity Master Plan 2012-2027, participating in STE studies (Line Energization Studies), and supervising the Rehabilitation of the Songo HVDC Converter Station (Brownfield phase I & II). In addition to his technical acumen, Mr. Matos has been actively involved in political initiatives, including his contribution to the Proposal for the Revision of the Electricity Law (Law 12/2022). His experience extends to Demand Stimulation for C&I - Captive Projects, where he has excelled in the fields of technical and financial feasibility studies for photovoltaic solar energy.

Braulio Rocha

Yuran Agy
Business Developer & Project Manager

Yuran Agy is an accomplished Renewable Energy Engineer with expertise in solar systems design and project management. He graduated from Universidade Técnica de Moçambique (UDM) and holds certifications in solar energy systems design and mini-grid development. Yuran has a strong track record in securing and constructing solar systems for Total Energies Gas Stations. His career highlights include engineering the first containerized BESS mini-grid in Mozambique. Currently, Yuran excels as a Business Developer and Project Manager at Source Energia, driving the development of impactful Commercial & Industrial (C&I) renewable energy projects. Fluent in both Portuguese and English. Member of the Mozambique Engineers Order.
